We're celebrating LGBTQ+tennis during the US Open with a series of events

The New York Pride Classic brings together 150+ players from around world, competing at their own skill level over three days of competition in Queens. We also have several social events for players, friends, and the wider community, including our pre-tournament welcome reception and pre-finals tournament banquet, and a special Community Day on June 1st, when anyone can visit to learn more about LGBTQ+tennis and watch and cheer matches on 12 courts, concurrently, from 8am to 10pm!

What is the GLTA?

The GLTA (Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance) is the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sports organization, with 20,000 active players and 90+ annual tournaments, from Boston to Bali, Paris to Perth. Tournaments take place over 3-day weekends and feature a player welcome party and dinner in addition to hundreds of matches.
