That's why we've been building an inclusive tennis community over the past two years through our programs, events, and WhatsApp. Join us!
BK Beginners
Launched in 2025 with Brooklyn Community Pride Center, BK Beginners is our anchor program, and provides affordable, affirming opportunities for LGBTQ+ Brooklynites to learn and play tennis, particularly queer women, TGNCNB, and BIPOC folks. Clinics are weekly, divided into Intro (1.5-2.0 NTRP) and Advanced (2.0-3.0 NTRP),and led by a certified coach at Prospect Park Tennis Center. Racquets and prior training not required.
Other Activities
In the last two years we've added programming like our monthly Playdates for intermediate-level round robin play and special events like TGNC Tennis Night, US Open Women's Finals Watch Party, and Out@Tennis festival. Coming up is a series of events around the US Open as well as our Brooklyn Open one-day tournament.
