Our US Open programming also includes three Fridays of tennis clinics at Prospect Park Tennis Center (TGNC Tennis Night, Queer Women@Tennis Night, and BK Beginners); Pride Night, Women's Final, and Men's Final Watch Parties; Seen@, our virtual exhibit commemorating the 35th Anniversary of the GLTA, and the Brooklyn Open, a post-US Open tournament. What is the GLTA?
Founded in 1991, the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance is the world’s largest LGBTQ+ sports organization, with 20,000 active players and 90+ annual tournaments. Pride Slam debuted on the GLTA in 2024, as the NY Pride Classic.
